Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about our services, process, and how we operate. If your question isn't answered here, please reach out through our main contact channels.
Are your services free?
Yes. Our legal consultations and guidance are provided on a pro-bono basis, meaning they are free of charge. This is made possible by our network of volunteer legal professionals. However, please note that any external costs, such as court filing fees, are the responsibility of the client.
Is my inquiry confidential?
Absolutely. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of our service. All information you submit through our intake form and discuss during consultations is protected by legal professional privilege and will not be shared without your explicit consent.
How long does the process take?
After you submit your case via our intake form, you will receive an immediate automated confirmation. Our team will then conduct an initial review. We aim to get back to you regarding the next steps, including scheduling a consultation if your case is accepted, within 5-7 business days.
Do you represent artists in court?
Our primary role is to provide legal advice, strategic guidance, and support for dispute resolution. We do not typically provide full legal representation for court proceedings. However, we can help you prepare for litigation and may be able to refer you to legal professionals who can offer representation.
What kind of cases do you NOT handle?
Our expertise is focused on legal issues directly related to the arts and creative industries. We are unable to assist with matters such as criminal law, family law, real estate transactions, or general business issues not related to a creative practice.
