Who We Are

About ALIM

Art x Law Initiative Malaysia — championing legal rights for Malaysia's creative communities since 2025.

Our Purpose

Our Mission

ALIM (Art x Law Initiative Malaysia) exists to bridge the gap between the legal system and creative communities.

We provide free, confidential legal support to artists, musicians, cultural workers, and creative professionals across Malaysia. We believe that every creative individual deserves access to justice, and we are committed to making that a reality through direct legal advice, policy advocacy, and grassroots education.

Our Values

What We Stand For

Access to Justice

Every artist deserves access to quality legal advice, regardless of their financial situation. We remove barriers so creatives can understand and exercise their rights.

Creative Freedom

We advocate for policies that protect artistic expression and cultural workers' rights. Art thrives when creators feel safe and supported in their practice.

Community Empowerment

Through education and advocacy, we build a more informed and resilient creative ecosystem. Knowledge is power, and we share it freely.
