Who founded ALIM?
ALIM was co-founded by Raul Lee, Fahri Azzat, and Nicholas Choong.
Is ALIM a registered organization?
ALIM operates as a grassroots initiative under the commitment of its co-founders and volunteer network.
Legal Services
Is the legal advice really free?
Yes, all our legal consultations are 100% pro-bono.
Is my consultation confidential?
Absolutely. All information shared is protected by professional confidentiality obligations.
What kind of legal issues can you help with?
Contract disputes, copyright/IP matters, performance agreements, employment/freelance rights, censorship issues, grant agreements, and more.
Do I need to be a professional artist?
No. We help anyone in the creative ecosystem - hobbyists, emerging artists, students, cultural workers, and established professionals.
Can you help if I'm outside Kuala Lumpur?
Yes. We offer remote consultations via email and video call.
