Children and Young Persons (Employment) Act 1966
CHILDREN AND YOUNG PERSONS (EMPLOYMENT) ACT 1966
AKTA KANAK-KANAK DAN ORANG MUDA (PEKERJAAN) 1966
Act 350 · consolidated to 10 Jan 2019 · 24 pp
What this does to artists
The specific permission regime for employing children and young persons, including in public entertainment. A child's appearance in a film, show or paid performance needs to be squared with this Act, and the parent's consent is not the whole answer.
Public entertainment is separately regulated here; do not rely on a parental release alone for a paid child performer.

The law changes.
